Thoughts on stories
Dear Editor,
Your March 9 issue was ripe with interesting stories that compelled me to make some observations because, as with any reader, everyone is entitled to my opinion.
Regarding “Cat fight at city hall,” all animal rescue charities are to be commended, not condemned. Empathy and common sense need prevail when the city realizes how much money they are saved by rescue group interventions. Wave the fees, or the charity might have to wave bye bye to the city, and take their good work elsewhere.
To the chap who broke into a tattoo shop, maybe cover your identifying hand tattoo next time.
If the dry pad at the iconic Children’s Arena is making such good revenues, then how about taking the revenues and putting them right back into the needed repairs at the facility to maybe get an ice pad back in (and shrink that $4 million or so that’s needed).
Finally, regarding the possessed Genosha Hotel and its present developer. Why put the cart before the horse, as it were, and not have the ownership situation cemented in stone before doing all that work? We all wish Mr. Christie the best of good fortune, but it just seems like one road apple after another with the Genosha ghost!
