This criminal has a truly “magnetic personality”
Dear Editor,
Some bank robber is trying to start his 2020 rolling. Four Durham banks in little over a week were hit with a fake coin-roll scam where the ends of 20 pap rolls showed a toonie, but the middles were packed with washers/slugs. The take would be roughly $900 on 20 rolls.
Alerts should have been promptly sent out to all other banks in Durham by the first bank hit, I believe. That’s just tardiness on the banks’ part.
The accused, with a “magnetic” personality, but no “bed roll” to call home, is wanted for “other metal resembling coin” incidents. That’s a new one on me.
And here I thought only lead singers of magnetic musical bands could utter metal and get away with it.
