The gift of learning

Some people are wishing for things to make their lives more exciting this holiday season. Others, however, are just wishing for something to make their lives better.

Thanks to Trillium College, a few lucky people will have the opportunity to d just that for free.

Trillium College is bringing back its Holiday Wish Campaign, which will see three people – one from each of the communities of the college’s campuses – win free tuition to a Trillium diploma program of their choosing.

“People can submit a 250-word essay, or a little bit more, about what they want to do to better the community by getting a new career,” says Ron Brandt, the college’s director of admissions.

Brandt says the campaign is important to Trillium because it offers them a chance to give back.

“There are many times during the year where we like to help people, but this is one time of the year where we really like the help people within the community,” he says.

For more information on this campaign and to submit your own essay, please visit trilliumcollege.ca. The last day to submit is Dec. 23.
