Teen stabbed in townhouse parking lot
Police are seeking three suspects after a teenaged male was stabbed at an Oshawa townhouse complex.
At approximately 1:55 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, police were called to the parking lot of a townhouse complex on Nonquon Road for an armed person call. According to police, the 19-year-old victim was outside a coffee shop on Simcoe Street North when a male looking to buy drugs approached him. The victim left the area, but was followed by the suspect and two other males who caught up to him as he was entering the townhouse parking lot. All three suspects attacked the victim. When the victim tried to defend himself, he was stabbed in the back.
All three suspects fled the area. The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening stab wounds.
A search of the area by DRPS’ K-9 unit was unsuccessful in locating the suspects.
The first suspect is described as a black male and was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, light blue or white pants and black shoes.
The second suspect is described as a black male and was last seen wearing a reddish coat or long-sleeved shirt, light jeans and light coloured shoes.
The third suspect is described as a black male, and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, dark pants and dark shoes.
