Working to beat a world record for most public speeches, Franco Scanga delivered a talk to the Rotary Club of Oshawa-Parkwood.

Nobody likes public speaking. But Franco Scanga worked to get on top of that.

Looking to beat a Guiness World Record, Scanga set out to deliver 23 speeches in 14 hours. And no, this wasn’t the same speech repeated over and over – each speech was its own unique creation.

Among the stops on Scanga’s quest for the record was at the Rotary Club of Oshawa Parkwood, where he took the time to chat about the value or purpose.

Another goal of Scanga’s multiple speeches was to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society, with hopes of netting $16,000 for this worthy cause.
