Suspect flees attempted robbery empty-handed
A suspect fled empty-handed after attempting to rob an Oshawa convenience store.
On Saturday, Nov. 20 at approximately 9:55 a.m., officers responded to a robbery at Jug City convenience store on King Street East in Oshawa.
The suspect entered the store armed with a metal pipe making a demand for cash and threatened the clerk.
A customer entered the store during the robbery and the suspect fled on foot.
There were no physical injuries to any employees or customers. The suspect is described as a white male with grey facial hair.
He was wearing a red and white plaid jacket, blue hat, cargo pants, black shoes and wore glasses.
