Special Olympics set to run June 1 and 2
The Special Olympics Provincial School Championships are set to see more than 600 high school students fill three separate venues in Oshawa on June 1 and 2.
The athletes will compete in five events including bocce, basketball, soccer, floor hockey and track and field held at Durham College, Civic and the Legends Centre.
This marks the first time the event has ever been held in Durham and will include students from approximately 80 high schools across the province.
