Preliminary 2017 budget timetable set

Budgets take time, and city staff are already getting ready for 2017.

According to the recently released budget timetable, presentations on the capital budget are set to get underway on Dec. 12, with a final approval slated for no later than Jan. 25, 2017.

The schedule also includes a half-day session on Dec. 16 for a presentation of the operating budgets, followed by a public meeting on Jan. 10 and two full days of deliberations on Jan. 17 and 20.
