Oshawa man facing weapons, drug charges in Peterborough
An Oshawa man is among those facing charges following a robbery in Peterborough.
According to Peterborough police, a male was robbed by persons with a handgun in the area of Bethune and Dalhousie Streets in the city.
Following an investigation by police, five people were arrested and charged.
A 26-year-old male of Festhubert Street in Oshawa has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a Schedule II substance (marijuana under three kilos) for the purpose of trafficking.
Others facing charges include a 27-year-old female of Division Street in Peterborough, a 42-year-old male of Cooper Road in Madoc, a 33-year-old male of Mountain Ash Road in Peterborough and an 18-year-old male of Greenway Circle in Port Hope.
