Murderer skips parole
Provincial police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for a man serving a sentence for murder.
The Ontario Provincial Police’s Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad announced that Tyrell Peter Dechamp, 26, has breached his parole. Dechamp is currently serving a five-year, four-month sentence for second degree murder and aggravated assault.
Dechamp is described as a black male, five feet and nine inches tall, 191 pounds and has short black hair and brown eyes. Police say he is known to frequent the Toronto area.
Anyone having contact with Dechamp or has information on his location is asked to call 9-1-1 or to get in touch with the ROPE Squad by calling 1-866-870-7673.
