Man on weapons and drug charges skips parole

parole_runawayProvincial police are seeking the public’s assistance after a man serving a sentence on weapons and drug charges skipped his parole.

Coady Duhamel is currently serving a four-year, seven-month sentence for possession of a loaded and prohibited firearm, possession of a firearm knowing it is unauthorized, careless storage of a firearm, possession of a weapon with the serial number removed, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a firearm while prohibited, among others.

Duhamel, 27, is described as an aboriginal male with a medium complexion, six feet and three inches tall, weighs 169 pounds, has medium length black hair and brown eyes.

Police say Duhamel is known to frequent the areas around Toronto, York Region and Barrie.
