Man injured in Oshawa stabbing
A 36-year-old man was sent to hospital after being stabbed during a dispute at a residence in Oshawa.
On May 21, at approximately 1:15 a.m., Durham officers responded to a residence on Birchcliffe Avenue in Oshawa for a stabbing.
The 36-year-old victim was involved in a heated dispute with the suspect when he was stabbed with a knife. The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The suspect was arrested at the scene.
A 57-year-old man is charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and possession of weapons dangerous. He was held for a bail hearing.
