Man in hospital after stabbing
A 60-year-old man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being stabbed in Oshawa.
Police responded to a residence on Gentry Crescent at approximately 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20 for an ambulance assistance call. According to police, the victim was located on the front porch of the house, suffering from numerous stab wounds to his upper body. The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in stable but life-threatening condition.
Police say they do not believe this was a random incident.
A 25-year-old woman of no fixed address has been charged with aggravated assault, robbery with an offensive weapon and possession of a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence.
