Man charged after Oshawa traffic stop
More than $80,000 in drugs and cash seized
After concluding a drug investigation in Oshawa, Durham Regional Police have arrested one suspect. They also seized approximately $80,000 in drugs and cash.
On Sept. 20, members of the Central East Division target team concluded a drug investigation. Officers arrested the suspect after a traffic stop was conducted at Stevenson Road and Bond Street in Oshawa, which resulted in the seizure of marijuana and cash.
The investigation led to the execution of a search warrant at an address on Cordova Road in Oshawa. Officers located a large amount of marijuana, hashish, cash and other drug paraphernalia with a combined value of more than $83,000.
A 43-year-old man of John Scott Avenue in Clarington is charged with two counts of possession of marijuana and hashish for the purpose of trafficking. He was released on a promise to appear.
