Hank is one of several cats who have been with Oshawa Animal Services since before June 22 and looking for a new home.

Oshawa Animal Services is hoping to find some new homes for its long-term felines.

Mature cats that have been with OAS since before June 22 can now be taken home at a preferred rate, thanks to the new Adoption Challenge.

“Up for a challenge? Then why not drop by Animal Services and say “Hello Kitty” to some of the cats we have ready for adoption?” says Councillor Bob Chapman, chair of the community services committee, in a news release.

“After your visit, you may have a new friend to take home to join your family.”

Eligible cats will be profiled on OAS’ website at oshawa.ca/petadoption.
