An Oshawa woman faces numerous firearms-related charges after police investigation resulted in the seizure of two guns and drugs.

On Thursday, June 13, investigators from Durham Police’s Gun and Gang Unit executed a search warrant on a residence on Cedar Street in Oshawa. A female suspect was arrested in the residence and investigators recovered two firearms and approximately $6,000 worth of drugs.

The 29-year-old woman of Cedar Street in Oshawa faces numerous charges include unauthorized and careless possession of a firearm, and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine and fentanyl). She was held for a bail hearing.
