Gens top pick critical in Gold Cup win

They may be teammates at some point, but that didn’t stop Danil Antropov from scoring on goaltender, and fellow Gens draft pick, Nathan Torchia at the OHL Gold Cup earlier this month.

The goal was one of several in Antropov’s GTHL Team Blue 6-1 victory in the final game to claim the OHL Gold Cup.

Antropov, Oshawa’s top pick in the recent draft, tied for fifth in the tournament with six points, including four goals in five games.
