It will be a historic year for the Oshawa Generals, and now fans can know when to catch some of the action.

Oshawa will start its season with a two-game road trip with matchups against the Sudbury Wolves on Sept. 23 and the Soo Greyhounds on Sept. 24.

The following weekend, the Generals will travel to Peterborough for the first of a home-and-home series that will see Oshawa hold its home opener at the General Motors Centre on Sept. 30 against the Petes.

“It’s an exciting day to officially kick off the start of our 80th anniversary season. Our home opener with Peterborough is another opportunity for our fans to be part of the strongest rivalry in junior hockey and we can’t wait to get started” states Roger Hunt, the Gens’ vice-president and general manager, in a news release.
