Oshawa picks up conditional pick in the 2020 Priority Selection

Goalie Nathan Torchia has been traded by the Generals to the Owen Sound Attach in exchange for a conditional 2020 draft pick.

The Oshawa Generals have sent goaltender Nathan Torchia northwest to the Owen Sound Attack.

It was announced Aug. 10 that Torchia had been dealt for a conditional seventh round draft pick in 2020.

The Waterloo native was selected by the Generals 66th overall in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection Draft.

He spent last season split between the George Town Raiders and Stouffveille Spirit of the Ontario Junior Hockey League.

Torchia appeared in one game for the Gens last year, giving up two goals on nine shots.

His father appeared in six games with the Washington Capitals during the 1994-95 and later coached the Kitchener Rangers for parts of two seasons.
