With deep sadness the family announces the passing of Bill Finnegan. Born in Dublin, Ireland on December 13, 1951. After a courageous battle at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, on Sunday April 10, 2016 in his 65th year. Beloved son of Clare and the late Laurence “Larry” Finnegan. Loved father of Larry Finnegan and remembered by Roberta. Dear brother of Marian (Garry) and husband Bill, Terry and wife Vivienne and Donna Bellamy and husband Bill. Proud uncle to Missy Taylor, Megan Taylor, Michael Finnegan, Kerry Bellamy, Brendan Garry and Declan Bellamy. Will be lovingly remembered by his many aunts and uncles and their families in Ireland and England. A special thank you to friends, doctors and wonderful staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa and especially to the critical care staff at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville who helped ease the path for Bill and his family.
