Eyes on the prize

Shenzie, a five-year-old border collie, soars over the obstacles at Lakeview Park, eyeing the toy frisbee held by owner Aimee Cloves. Cloves and Shenzie took part in the Homeward Bound Rescue Canine Carnival at Oshawa’s waterfront on Sept. 10. Despite the rain, the event, organized by Toronto-based Homeward Bound Rescue, saw crowds of pooches and their owners enjoy events like a canine fashion show and agility demonstrations.
