Cops seize guns, bow, drugs from Oshawa home

Durham police seized these three firearms, along with a compact bow, cash and a number of illegal drugs, from an Oshawa home following an investigation into illegal weapons possession.
Durham police seized quite the haul of weapons cash and drugs after searching a home on Friday.
Early in the morning on Friday, Nov. 4, police with the Gun and Gang Enforcement Unit search a home on Cricklewood Avenue as part of an investigation into possible illegal firearms at the residence.
Inside, police found a 12-gauge shotgun, a rife, a sawed off shotgun, along with more than 100 rounds of ammunition. Police also found a compound bow and a number of drugs, including crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana and hydromorph pills, with a street value of approximately $8,500.
Police say that two of the seized firearms were stolen during a break and enter in the city earlier this year.
A 37-year-old male of Cricklewood Drive, a 32-year-old female of Burnham Street, a 29-year-old male of Park Road South, a 47-year-old male of Cricklewood Drive and a 29-year-old female of Harmony Road North have all been charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, as well as one count each of unauthorized possession of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, possession of a prohibited weapon knowing its possession is unauthorized, possession of weapon obtained by crime, possession of a loaded firearm and possession of property obtained by crime.
