Convicted robber skips parole
A Canada-wide warrant has been issued after a man serving a robbery sentence skipped parole.
According to the OPP’s Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad, Geoffrey Wayne Bennett, 35, frequents the areas around Toronto, Barrie, Orillia, Brampton and Windsor. He was serving a four-year, three-month sentence for two counts of robbery.
Bennett is described as a white male, six feet and five inches tall, 265 pounds and has brown eyes and a shaved head. Police say Bennett also has numerous tattoos, including full sleeve tattoos on both arms extending to his right hand, along with others on his neck and chest.
