Become a better baseball coach

Baseball Oshawa has announced that new coaching development dessions are open to all Baseball Oshawa rep and select coaches.

The program, led by former Ontario provincial team field manager Geoff Whent, is designed to provide coaching development for all interested Baseball Oshawa coaches.

The first session is slated for Aug. 7 at 9 a.m. inside Kinsmen Stadium and will include lessons on practice and pre-game planning, infield and outfield upset, along with pre-game batting practice set-up.

A second session is set for Aug. 14 (7 p.m. at Lakeview 1) and a third on Aug. 28 (9 a.m. at Kinsmen) Each coaching session will be approximately two hours of on field discussions and development comes at no cost.
