Arrest made in sexual assault case

A 14-year-old male has been arrested in connection to a sexual assault which occurred in Oshawa earlier this month.

On Oct. 8, at approximately 6 p.m., a male suspect pushed his way inside a home in the area of Dartmoor Street and Andover Street and then touched the female resident inappropriately when he attempted to hug her.

On Oct 12, the suspect turned himself in to detectives at Central East Division.

A 14-year-old male from Oshawa is charged with sexual assault, assault and unlawfully in a dwelling house.
