Ammo stolen from home

Police are seeking the public’s help in tracking down ammunition that was stolen from a Pickering home.

Just before 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, police were called to a home in the Valley Farm Road and Finch Avenue area of Pickering after a resident reported that someone had entered their home and had attempted to take a large, heavy gun vault.

Police say the suspects had attempted to lift the vault up a flight of stairs.

However, the suspects did make off with a large amount of ammunition and a knife.
