A year of top notch volunteering

Ann Thurn, left, happily accepts the Earl Hann Volunteer Award, given out annually to the Oshawa Community Museum and Archive’s top volunteer, from Jillian Passmore, the museum’s experience co-ordinator. Thurn tells The Oshawa Express that she volunteered her time by helping with the gardens on the museum grounds, along with other programs on tap there.

“I just love the history of Oshawa,” she says.
