Yoga teacher charged

A male yoga instructor in Oshawa has been charged with sexually assaulting two female clients.

The 36-year-old Whitby resident was arrested on Aug. 7 after two people came forward to police regarding inappropriate touching.

Police say the alleged incidents took place between May and June while the accused was working as a yoga instructor at the GoodLife Fitness located in the Oshawa Centre. It is believed the suspect is or has also worked at other yoga studios in Oshawa.

The accused is charged with two counts of sexual assault and was released on a promise to appear.
