Stabbing in city’s south end

An Oshawa man was stabbed over the weekend, and police say he is not cooperating with the investigation.

Police were called to the area of Wentworth Street West and Cedar Street at approximately 3:20 a.m. on Sunday, June 5 to assist an ambulance. According to police, a 27-year-old male suffered serious by non-life threatening injuries after a confrontation in a nearby park. He was later taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Police say the victim is not cooperating with police in this investigation.
