DESCRIPTION:Duck Derby – United Way Durham Region will kick off their 2019 campaign with the annual Duck Derby and a chance to win $1\,000. Ducks will be available for adoption in advance at any of the five Halenda’s locations in Durham Region or at the United Way Simcoe Street South office. One duck is $10\, or a quack pack (three ducks) costs $25. The event takes place between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Beginning at the pedestrian bridge behind the Robert McLaughlin Gallery\, 72 Queen Street\, the event team will send more than 800 ducks down the Oshawa Creek racing towards the finish line at the John St. Bridge in Brick by Brick Park.
