Teen followed while walking home

Police are currently looking for a man who followed a 15-year-old girl home from work in Oshawa.

Police say at around 7:45 p.m. on August 8 the teen was walking home in the Grandview and Bloor Streets area when a man in a white car began following her.

At one point the man pulled up and told the teen her father had sent him to drive her home. She immediately pulled out her cellphone and told the man she was calling police. He then drove away, heading north on Grandview Street.

The man is described as white, about 20 to 30-years-old with a thin build, brown eyes and a shaved head. He had a short, groomed beard, light brown in colour and was wearing a white T-shirt.

The vehicle is described as a dirty white or beige older model Honda Accord or Toyota Corolla.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Puckrin of Central East Division at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2159.
