Sufficient response by council on Syria

Dear Editor,

I disagree with the writer’s critical assessment of our council and commend them instead for being so cognizant of its limited jurisdiction and of the public purse in regard to the Syrian dilemma.

Also contrary to the writer, I think council delegating the sum of $100 on our behalf is enough since Canada already contributes billions of dollars in foreign aid to countries like Syria to the determent of its own citizens. Reality check writer, we have plenty of homeless and desperate people here in Canada already that need help.
