Reduced train service on GO line

Go Train

Residents taking the Lakeshore East GO train are reminded that train service will be reduced for two weekends in May.

Beginning May 8 at 8 p.m., there will be trains every hour rather than every half hour all along the Lakeshore East line. Full service will be restored again the following Monday.

The same service changes will be effective again May 29 beginning again at 8 p.m. Services will commence regularly on the morning of June 1.

Reduced services are in effect to accommodate the installation of two pedestrian tunnels under the tracks at Eglinton GO Station, which will make the station fully accessible.

Passengers on the Lakeshore East GO will also see trains delayed by approximately 10 minutes leaving Union Station and Oshawa GO station.

Customers can check schedules in advance at gotransit.com.
