Police release image of grocery store thief

Durham police are turning to the public to help them identify a male wanted for stealing from a grocery store last month.

At approximately 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, an unidentified male entered the Real Canadian Superstore at Harmony Road North in Oshawa. According to police, the suspect picked up several items and then left the store without paying. The suspect was confronted by store security, but was able to flee the scene on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male between 30 and 40 years old, standing five feet and eight inches tall with a thin build. Police say the man weighs approximately 150 pounds.
