Police looking for shoplifting duo
Durham police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two people they say have been shoplifting at Oshawa Centre.
At approximately 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27 at the Oshawa Centre, a male and a female entered the Churchill’s Crossing store at the mall together. About half an hour later, the same couple was at the T-Booth Wireless store asking about cell phones. Police say while the female talked with the sales clerk, the male reached over the counter and stole four cellphones, valued at a total of $3,800.
The male suspect is described as black with a skinny to medium build. He was last seen with long dreadlocks, wearing a black hat, blue jeans and a light grey sweater.
The female suspect is described as black and was last seen with long, curly brown and blonde hair and wearing a red puffy coat.
