Oshawa teens charged in stabbing incident
Two teens are facing charges in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred in Oshawa.
However, investigators are still looking to speak to the witnesses who stopped to assist the victims.
A 15-year-old male and a 16-year-old male, both from Oshawa, are both charged with aggravated assault.
On March 1, at approximately 9:40 p.m., the victim was with friends near the intersection of Ritson Road North and Coldstream Drive in Oshawa when they were involved in a verbal dispute with the suspect and another male.
The suspect left the area to return with some other males and a physical altercation took place.
The suspects stabbed the victim and assaulted another male before they fled from the scene.
The stabbing victim was taken to a trauma centre in Toronto with serious, non-life threatening injuries. The other male suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
