Oshawa man charged in Brooklin hit and run

Police have charged a 22-year-old man after receiving several tips from the public regarding a hit and run incident in Brooklin last month.
On Sept. 22, at approximately 7:25 p.m., a 15-year-old male was walking through a pedestrian crossing when he was struck by a vehicle turning left from Campbell Street onto Baldwin Street.

The driver stopped and exited the vehicle, but after a few moments, he returned to the vehicle and drove off.

The victim received minor injuries during the incident.

The 22-year-old resident of Chandos Street in Oshawa has been charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident. He was released on a Promise to Appear.
