Oshawa firefighter memorialized by IAFF

Former Oshawa firefighter James Stewart was one of the names added to the International Association of Fire Fighters Fallen Fire Fighter Wall of Honor in Colorado Sprinigs, Colorado on Sept. 15. Stewart lost his life due to occupational cancer on Feb. 28, 2017 in retirement after serving his community for 34 years. Nathan Langille, vice-president of the Oshawa Professional Firefighters Association presented Stewart’s wife Marilyn with the IAFF flag in her husband’s honour.
