Oshawa fire marshal investigating Oshawa shed fire

The Durham Regional Police are looking for further information after a fire damaged several backyard garages in Oshawa.

At around 3 a.m. on May 11, officers were on the scene of multiple fires in the backyards of several homes on both Rosedale Avenue and Kinsdale Avenue in Oshawa. Due to the wind conditions, the fires spread quickly and the nearby homes were evacuated. It is believed the fire started in a backyard shed, but the cause and the cost of the damage remains undetermined. The Ontario Fire Marshall is currently investigating.

Police are asking anyone in the area who may have video surveillance or any further information to contact them.
