New carding rules bad for cops

Dear Editor,

Boy, we really have a problem now. Police cannot stop a person and ask them questions as they see fit. When asking questions, the police have to tell the person that they do not have to respond in any way, shape or form. They then have to write a report even if nothing was said.

We are headed for disaster if carding is not used. Murders take place every day in Toronto, yet we are told that crime is down. What a laugh.

The cops have to try to solve crime and another obstacle is thrown in their path. I am concerned that crime will only climb higher unless carding is used at any time.

I say to anyone who objects to carding — What are you scared of?
