New addition to Ridgebacks hockey
Tyson Teichmann will join the Ridgebacks next season.
There will be a new faces on the UOIT Ridgebacks men’s hockey team this fall after goaltender Tyson Teichmann committed to the club earlier this month.
Teichmann, a Belleville native, spent the last two seasons with the St. Thomas Tommies in the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) conference where he played 42 games.
The six-foot goaltender is no stranger to elite hockey, having spent two seasons starting in 2009/2010 as the starter with the Belleville Bulls before being shifted to the Erie Otters and Mississauga Steelheads.
