Nearly $30k in drugs seized during Durham raid

The Durham Regional Police have arrested three men after approximately $29,000 in various drugs were seized from a Bowmanville residence.

On Aug. 22, members from East Division and Central East Division executed a search warrant at a residence in the area of Longworth Avenue and Scugog Street in Bowmanville.

The drugs seized included cocaine, crack-cocaine, marijuana and heroin.  A quantity of Canadian currency and drug paraphernalia was seized as well.

A 31-year-old male of Main Street in Clarington, is facing multiple drug trafficking charges as well as the possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime. He was held for a bail hearing.

A 37-year-old male of Corbett Drive in Pontypool, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance (crack cocaine) and three counts of driving while disqualified. He was released on a promise to appear.

Lastly, 23-year-old male of Vail Meadows Crescent in Bowmanville has been charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and failing to comply with a recognizance. He was released on a promise to appear.
