Man mugged by four people
An Oshawa man suffered minor injuries after being attacked and mugged by four suspects.
At approximately 11 p.m. on Monday, March 7, police responded to the area of Simcoe Street North and Beatrice Street for a robbery call. According to police, a 24-year-old Oshawa man was walking northbound on Simcoe on the east side of the road when he was attacked by four males. The victim was punched and kicked to the ground and had his cellphone stolen.
Police say the suspects may have fled the area in a car waiting nearby.
The victim suffered minor injuries that did not require medical attention.
The four suspects are described as white males that were wearing dark clothing and masks concealing their faces.
