Lane restrictions coming on Bloor

Lane restrictions will begin on Bloor Street in Oshawa next week.

As of Monday, March 19, Bloor Street from Stevenson Road to Albert Street will be reduced to two lanes of traffic, one in each direction, for the installation of a new watermain and road reconstruction.

Restrictions are scheduled to be in place through the end of November but weather may affect this timeline.

In addition, Park Road north of Bloor Street will be closed for one weekend as part of the project. Advanced notification will be provided from the region.

Access to local residences and businesses, and pedestrian access along one side of Bloor Street will be maintained at all times.
