Lakeview Park Avenue to close for construction
Workers to construct new watermain and water services
Construction work on Lakeview Park Avenue is set to begin next week.
Starting March 25, the road will be closed to through traffic between Birchcliffe Avenue and Kluane Avenue.
The work will see construction of new watermain and water services from Birchcliffe Avenue and Simcoe Street South, as well as polybutylene water service replacements between Ritson Road South to Birchcliffe Avenue.
Durham Region Transit bus stops on Lakeview Park Avenue will be temporarily relocated onto Valley Drive.
The closure will expedite the construction schedule, maintain a safe work zone for the workers and protect the safety of road users.
Construction is scheduled to last until Friday, April 5.
