Future Generals named to OHL cup roster

A selection of eight Oshawa Generals prospects are headed to the Ontario Hockey League Gold Cup.

Danil Antropov, the Gens’ first-round pick, along with William Ennis, Dante Fantauzzi, Mitchell Hewitson, Serron Noel, Joseph Rupoli, Isaac Taylor and Nathan Torchia, have all been selected to be a part of one of the eight rosters set to compete.

The Gold Cup sees 160 of the OHL’s greatest players under 16 compete in the annual tournament as part of Hockey Canada’s Program of Excellence.

The top players from the tournament will be invited to attend the U17 National Camp.
