Father, daughter arrested after year-long investigation into stolen property

A father and daughter duo are facing muliple charges after a year-long investigation by police into property crimes.

Police first receieved information in April 2015 that an Oshawa man was receiving stolen property in exchange for either cash or drugs. As a result, police launched Project Fraser to investigate the man.

A year later on April 20, 2016, police arrested two people and executed search warrants at their home and two Oshawa storage units. Police recovered small appliances, electronics and clothing.

Another search warrant for a safety deposit box in Oshawa turned up more than $100,000 wort of jewelry.

A 59-year-old male and a 23-year-old female of Centre Street North in Oshawa have each been charged with 15 counts of possession of stolen property.

Police have posted pictures of the stolen property in an effort to identify their owners. Photos can be viewed at flic.kr/s/aHskzA5iTV.
