Jump back in time with Curator, Melissa Cole, as she recounts what the medical field was like in Oshawa 100 years ago. Learn about the history of Lakeridge Health Oshawa (the OGH to locals), why the need for a hospital arose and who some of the doctors were at the time.
After tea, scones and the lecture, tour through this latest exhibit from the Oshawa Museum. Tea is served promptly at 1 p.m. and costs $10 per person, $5 members of the Oshawa Historical Society.
The event takes place at the Oshawa Museum, 1450 Simcoe Street South, by Lake Ontario at Lakeview Park, and will take place from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
