Durham enters second year of junior golf partnership

Durham College is set to enter into year two of its strategic partnership as title sponsor of the Durham Junior Golf Tour (DJGT), set to begin the 2017 season on May 21.
Led by former Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) champion and head coach Tyler Martin, the Lords are perennial contenders for the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) national championship, as several DJGT alumni have attended the college and had successful playing careers with the Lords.
This year will be a big one for the Durham College golf team as they play host to the CCAA championship. The four-round event will take place at the Royal Ashburn Golf Club Oct. 17 to 20.
