Drug store robbed

Police are seeking the public’s help in catching a man they say robbed a pharmacy.

At approximately 3:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25, police responded to the Guardian Drugs store on King Street West for a robbery. According to police, a male suspect entered the store, indicated he was armed and demanded opiates. The suspect fled the store after the pharmacist handed over hydromorphone.

There were no physical injuries reported during the robbery.

The male suspect is described as white, between 25 and 30 years old, approximately five feet and nine inches tall with a medium build, brown moustache and unshaven. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket with a fur-lined hood and dark pants.
